Celeste M. Calfe, President Calfe & Associates and ACF North America, Receives Career Management Fellow Certification by International Board of Governors, ICC International.

Celeste M. Calfe of Calfe & Associates, Natrona Heights Pennsylvania, by a unanimous vote of an International Board of Governors, has been named Career Management Fellow in recognition of her contributions to the field of Career Management including Leadership Coaching and Executive Career Transition. Jean Erickson Walker, CMF, Chair of the Institute for Career Certification (ICC) International made the announcement today.
"I am deeply honored to be certified as a Fellow by ICC International. I have strived my entire career to uphold the highest quality standards and ethics in my business. I have carried this commitment of quality into my current work with business leaders in varied industries and companies both large and small," said Celeste M. Calfe, President of Calfe & Associates, a company dedicated to providing hands-on personalized human resources services.
Celeste has been elected to serve a second term as the President of the Association of Career Firms North America and as the Treasurer of the Association of Career Firms International. She is also a Board Member of Carlow University Alumni, professional member of PHRA, PHRPS, WHRA, SHRM and NAFE.
Over Celeste's 25 years in the career transition industry she has authored six career transition manuals, several articles for her website, local SHRM groups and community group fundraising activities, government grants and newsletters. Celeste is often requested to speak to graduating high-school and college seniors, business groups and regional SHRM chapters. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Carlow University and has completed several graduate courses in human resources, selling and management.
ICC International is the only not-for-profit and independent certifying body for professionals in the career management field created in 1994 by the Professional Associations for Career Management Practitioners and Firms to ensure that such services were being delivered competently, ethically and to defined and verifiable standards. .
ICC International Certification is portfolio-based, documenting expertise and experience in the field. This portfolio of work is reviewed by a five-member committee that represents four countries. The work is then reviewed by the ICC International board. ICC International employs a thorough screening process to validate professionals in 30 areas of competency including career planning, assessment and leadership development.

Calfe & Associates Receives 2009 Best of Natrona Heights Award
Washington D.C. - October 28, 2009 - Calfe & Associates has been selected for the 2009 Best of Natrona Heights Award in the Management Consulting Services category by the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA).
The USCA "Best of Local Business" Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USCA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2009 USCA Award Program focused on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USCA and data provided by third parties.
